Are you passionate about the outdoors, inspiring young minds, and making memories in nature?

Join our team for an unforgettable summer as a Camp Leader at Sun School Summer Camp, a nature-based day camp that celebrates outdoor exploration, environmental learning, and joyful play in the natural world.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to help develop and deliver enriching recreational programming for children and youth in a fun, dynamic day camp setting. As a Camp Leader, you'll plan, organize, and lead engaging social and outdoor activities, while creating a safe, inclusive, and memorable experience for campers each day.

About the Role:

• Facilitate hands-on nature activities, outdoor games, and creative projects
• Supervise and interact with campers throughout the day to ensure their safety, well-being, and enjoyment
• Support campers’ social-emotional development through positive role modeling and inclusive practices
• Collaborate with fellow camp staff to create a welcoming and empowering camp culture

Qualifications:

• A love for working with children and being outdoors
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience in education, recreation, camps, or youth programming is an asset
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stay active throughout the day
• Standard First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
• A current Vulnerable Sector Check

Camp Dates: Monday - Friday, July 14th, 2025 - August 28th, 2025

Position: Full Time - 36-45 hours per week

Contract: 7-week summer employment

Compensation: $18-20/hour, based on experience and funding eligibility through Work to Grow.
