Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence and public service? Kawartha Conservation is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director, Corporate Services to lead a diverse portfolio of corporate functions that are essential to our mission to champion watershed health as the recognized leader in natural asset management.

As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will shape the future of our organization by overseeing Finance, Human Resources, IT, Records Management, Health & Safety, and Communications. This is more than a management role—it’s an opportunity to drive innovation, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure organizational resilience in a rapidly evolving public sector landscape.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead with Vision: Guide a multidisciplinary team, aligning departmental goals with our Strategic Plan and fostering a collaborative, outcome-driven culture.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee financial planning, audits, and reporting under public sector accounting standards. Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies.
  • Champion People and Culture: Shape HR strategies, support employee development, and promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging workplace.
  • Modernize Systems: Advance digital transformation in records management and IT infrastructure to support organizational efficiency and innovation.
  • Amplify Our Voice: Lead corporate communications and branding initiatives that enhance public awareness and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support Governance: Provide strategic insights and reporting to the Board of Directors, and act as a signing authority on key administrative matters.
