Position: Partnership Services Coordiinator

About the Role:

The Partnership Services Coordinator (PSC) ensures the seamless operations and service delivery of all aspects of partnership services while fostering high-impact collaboration. The PSC plays a key role in managing and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective partners through contract facilitation, enhancing satisfaction and retention, to maximize impact and funding.

This position reports to the Partnership Services Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and foster collaborative relationships with over 40 partners; Interact with leading advocates working towards reconciliation across Canada.
  • Serve as a contact for partners, building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships, taking particular responsibility for DI Fund and Action - CoLab.
  • Maintain an up-to-date partner database and proactively research new partnership opportunities.
  • Work with Indigenous Partners across Canada to help promote initiatives and programs advocating for a better, more unified nation.
  • Help identify, steward and onboard new partners; ensure partner proposals and applications are received and approved.
  • Contract facilitation: initiating the first draft of contracts, Contract Activity Plan, schedules, revisions, and draft addendums, facilitate contract review approval process, finalize for signature and save all documents accordingly.
  • Ensure proper agreements are put in place (advisor agreements, subcontractor agreements, etc.).
  • Understand the needs of individual partners, current project statuses, and assist them through their concerns using superior customer service skills.
  • Keep current on best practices for managed funds.
  • Develop, formalize and maintain agreement templates.
  • Help ensure timeliness of related invoices and payment processing.
  • Facilitate reporting to donors as/if required.
  • Help manage files (including file sharing) on organizational Shared Google Drives; Support other organizational development efforts as capacity allows.
  • Other related tasks as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Background in a non-profit or business administration setting; experience working with Indigenous communities would be considered a strong asset.
  • Previous experience with Partnership Relations, with a preference to those with direct experience collaborating with large partner groups, Indigenous communities, or other nation-wide organizations.
  • Experience accessing, developing, and facilitating contract administration required.
  • Project Management experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Professional or lived experience working alongside Indigenous communities and/or organizations is considered a strong asset.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized approach to your work. Documentation due diligence required due to the complexities of projects.
  • Experience using non-profit databases and softwares (Asana) for project management would be an asset.
  • Experience using Google Suite applications would be an asset.

  • $52,000 - $62,000 per year, commensurate with the experience and qualifications you bring to the Foundation.
