Hiring: Concessions and Restaurants Manager
Organization: Royal Botanical Gardens
Location: Burlington, GTA, Ontario

Salary Range: $52,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences in dynamic, scenic environments? Royal Botanical Gardens is looking for a Food and Beverage Concessions Manager to oversee our concessions and provide management support for our on-site restaurants.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee daily operations of food and beverage concessions, including pop-ups and special events.
• Support restaurant and catering operations as needed.
• Implement standard operating procedures for efficiency and consistency.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Work with our Chef and F&B Manager to develop and manage budgets.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
• Lead and train a talented concessions staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and AGCO regulations.

What You Bring:

• Strong understanding of food preparation, dietary restrictions, and food handling.
• Knowledge of AGCO and Smart Serve regulations.
• Ontario Food Handler Certification and Smart Serve Certification required.
• Experience with staff training, performance management, and customer service.
• Expertise in inventory management, purchasing, and financial reconciliation.
• Proficiency in food and beverage POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
