Position: Senior Consultant - Retrofit Planning and Strategy

Location: Remote position / work from home. Ideally based in BC, but for the right candidate we are open to other locations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead strategic projects for governments, utilities, and building owners.
• Develop retrofit strategies, decarbonization policies, and market transformation programs.
• Perform detailed financial analyses to support retrofit business cases, including LCCA, ROI modeling, scenario comparisons, cost-benefit analysis, and assessment of tax incentives, rebates, and financing options.
• Translate technical and financial data into clear, actionable content for diverse stakeholders.
• Deliver high-impact reports, memos, case studies, educational content and presentations.
• Stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with our technical and policy teams to integrate the results of strategy work into tools and reports.

What You Bring

• 7+ years’ experience related to building retrofit strategy.
• Relevant academic background.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate business cases for business case retrofits.
• Excellent research, writing and editing skills. The ability to efficiently produce quality written work.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Experience with writing winning proposals.
• Experience conducting quantitative analysis and financial modelling.
• Familiarity with retrofit technologies and policy development.
• Proficiency in Excel and other tools for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance research and productivity is a strong asset.
• Flexibility to take on a wide range of projects.
