Volunteer Positions

Needed: Nature House Hosts
Project: Nature House, Metro Vancouver Regional Parks
Location: Campbell Valley Regional Park, Langley, BC

Want to share your passion for nature and local history? Become a Campbell Valley Nature House Host. The Nature House, in Campbell Valley Regional Park, is in a beautiful heritage barn, and has nature-based displays, activities, games and crafts for the whole family. It is open Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays, 10:00am - 1:00pm, from May 17th to September 1st.

Hosts greet visitors, answer questions, hand out maps and brochures, guide visitors to displays, and provide information about park features and facilities.

Time commitment: a minimum of three 3-hour shifts for the season.

Don’t worry if you’re inexperienced – we provide training and you'll always be paired with a seasoned co-host. And you don't need to be a biologist or an expert on nature!
