Help protect and care for PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park)!

Positions: Park Ambassador – PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park)
Location: PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park), District of Saanich, Greater Victoria, BC

Volunteers with the Park Ambassador Program walk through PKOLS (Mount Douglas Park) on a regular basis to welcome visitors, answer questions, and share interesting info to help others understand how they can protect and care for this special place. They also provide helpful feedback to Saanich Parks by observing, recording and reporting on defined issues.

Park Ambassadors are asked to visit the park at least once per week for 1-2 hours, for a minimum of one season (May - September). All volunteers receive training (including some natural and cultural history) as well as supplies and identification.

Ages 19+ unless accompanied by a parent or guardian while volunteering. Requires a free Police Information Check.

5. Attend an orientation and training session.
