We are seeking new volunteer Board Members to help guide our next chapter at our upcoming Annual General Meeting (November 18th). Multiple positions available.

This is a working board, with members contributing to planning, administration, communications, and hosting programs and events. Board members commit approximately 4 hours/month, including monthly virtual meetings and participation in community events. No experience necessary!

Key Responsibilities:

• Get involved with conservation and education initiatives.
• Collaborate with local partners, volunteers, and the City of Surrey.
• Support programs like SNAP that engage and empower young environmental leaders.

About the Green Timbers Heritage Society

The Green Timbers Heritage Society (GTHS) was founded in 1987 to protect and celebrate Surrey’s Green Timbers Urban Forest. We are a registered charity and non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the Green Timbers Urban Forest Park for future generations.

Entirely community-led and volunteer-run, GTHS brings together people who care deeply about this park in one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities.
