About Turtle Pond Wildlife Centre
Turtle Pond Wildlife Centre's (TPWC) mission is to provide professional wildlife rehabilitation to injured, ill and orphaned wildlife native to Northern Ontario. TPWC admits animals from members of the public and authorities who find wildlife in need. TPWC also offers assistance to people with wildlife situations, conflicts and general queries.

Turtle Pond Wildlife Centre is the sole authorized wildlife rehabilitation centre in Northern Ontario that admits a wide variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. From our base in Greater Sudbury, we care for animals from Thunder Bay, Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie, Manitoulin Island, North Bay and beyond. Over 900 wild animals were treated at Turtle Pond Wildlife Centre in 2023, resulting in many being successfully released back into their natural environment.

The Intern will work onsite at 2882 Vern Drive, Val Caron, ON P3N1R3.
