Wildlife Preservation Fieldwork

Wildlife Preservation Canada (WPC) is seeking Field Technician Interns to assist with implementation of activities related to the OPRREC program. The position will be based out of downtown Windsor, with field work occurring at the Ojibway Prairie Complex and Greater Park Ecosystem (OPCGPE) in Windsor and LaSalle, and elsewhere in the Windsor-Essex region.

Position: Reptile Recovery Field Technician (Intern)
Project: Ojibway Prairie Reptile Recovery (OPRREC)
Location: Windsor, ON

Type of Position: Full-time (35 hr./wk.), seasonal (8 – 16 weeks; extension subject to funding availability and performance review)
Rate of Pay: $17.75/hr., plus 4% vacation pay
Anticipated Start: May 2025
Hours of Work: Flexible daily and weekly schedule to suit project needs and weather conditions. Working weekends will be required.

Technicien de terrain pour le rétablissement des reptiles (stagiaire)

Conservation de la faune au Canada (CFC) est à la recherche de stagiaires techniciens de terrain pour aider à la mise en œuvre des activités liées au programme RREPO. Les postes seront basés au centre-ville de Windsor, et le travail sur le terrain se fera dans le Complexe de la Prairie Ojibway et le Grand Écosystème du Parc à Windsor et LaSalle, et ailleurs dans la région de Windsor-Essex.
