Position: Operations & Development Coordinator (Spay/Neuter Clinics)
Organization: Indigenous SPCA
Location: Our mobile clinics our currently based in BC. The coordination of the clinics can happen virtually. Some on-site coordination may be required from time to time.

We are looking for someone to help build a high-skill, high-trust mobile veterinary deployment network in BC (to start).

Someone who can recruit veterinarians, RVTs, and assistants as volunteers and locums.

Someone who can organize spay/neuter and other clinic teams, support rural and remote deployments, help raise the money to make the work possible, and turn good intentions into well-run clinic days.

Someone practical, disciplined, relationship-focused, calm under pressure, and willing to help build something that doesn't really exist yet.

Mission Pawsible (BC's first non-profit, mobile vet clinic) is teaming up with Indigenous SPCA (a project of Increased ACCESS(.org)) to create a new operations and development contract role at the intersection of Indigenous-led community animal management and mobile veterinary service delivery.

This is not a passive administrative role.

We need someone who can pick up the phone, follow up, recruit, organize, fundraise, build systems, solve problems, and keep things moving.

Experience in veterinary medicine, animal welfare, fundraising, logistics, field operations, community-based non-profit work, or rural/remote service delivery would all be relevant.

If this sounds like you, I would be interested in hearing what you might do in your first 90 days to help recruit a cadre of veterinary pros, organize mobile clinic deployments, support community-led animal management, and raise the funding needed for this next phase.

We are not looking for someone to maintain a program. We are looking for someone to help build infrastructure for community health and safety.
