Hiring: Field and Greenhouse Worker
Farm: Northstar Organics
Location: Central Saanich, near Victoria, BC

Northstar Organics is a certified organic 10-acre, mixed vegetable and berry farm located in Central Saanich near Victoria. We grow a large variety of field and greenhouse fruit and vegetables, all for sale locally through farmers markets and to restaurants and stores in Victoria.

Are you interested in learning more about small scale organic farming? We provide the opportunity to learn the business of small scale intensive organic growing using innovative and modern farming techniques. This is a great work opportunity for someone that wants physically intensive, rewarding work. The huge variety of crops and tasks ensures that employees have a varied and engaging work experience.

Field and Greenhouse Worker, to start February 2. 

This work involves mostly field work such as preparing and seeding beds, cultivation, and planting, as well as some greenhouse vegetable work including planting, pruning, and trellising crops.  

Work is 9am – 5pm, 5 days per week. 

Compensation is $20/hr to start.

This is a full time, permanent position.
