Position: Summer Nature Camp Director
Camps: FABN Summer Nature Camps
Organization: Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network
Location: Hybrid, with up to 3-4 days per week on site at our camp locations (Elgin, Lyndhurst, Brockville, and Lansdowne, Ontario)
Wage: $26-30 per hour, commensurate with experience
Hours: 40-44 hours per week
Contract Length: 3 months

Start Date: June 1st, 2026 (possibility of an earlier start date with part-time hours)
End Date: September 4th, 2026 (possibility of a later end date with part-time hours)
Introduction
The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Region is one of 19 UNESCO designated biosphere regions in Canada. The Frontenac Arch is an ecologically unique landscape spanning the area from Brockville to Westport to Verona, and is characterized by an ancient ridge of exposed granite that acts as a wildlife corridor between the Adirondack Mountains and Algonquin Park. The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network administers the UNESCO designation and delivers programming focused on celebrating biodiversity and sustainability in the region.
Summary of Position

The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network (FABN) is seeking a passionate and experienced individual who will lead our summer Nature Camp.
Our day camp runs at four locations (Elgin, Lyndhurst, Brockville, and Lansdowne) in the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Region with teams of Environmental Educators delivering programming at each site. The Nature Camp Director will oversee summer camps at these four locations and provide hands-on management of camp staff and programming. The successful candidate will provide leadership and mentoring to staff and volunteers, ensuring engaging programming while managing risk.
This role reports to the Executive Director. The successful candidate must reside within reasonable proximity to the Frontenac Arch Biosphere and its four camp locations.
