Position: Social Media Contractor
Organization: Rivershed Society of BC
Location: Fraser Watershed, BC
Contract Term: As early as October 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025 (with potential for extension)
Contract Type: Part-time, hourly contract up to 20 hours/week – 100% remote.
Compensation: $25 to $30/hour depending on experience

We envision a resilient watershed where salmon, people, and economies thrive in rivershed communities. We are seeking a skilled Social Media Contractor to join our team and help amplify our mission through engaging and impactful digital content.
Role Overview:
As our Social Media Contractor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence. You will work closely with our team to take drafted content and prepare it for social media platforms. This includes adding alt text, sourcing media where needed, and ensuring our posts are accessible and visually appealing. Additionally, you will engage with our online community, fostering connections and conversations that align with our mission. We are open to hiring a skilled individual, business, or experienced freelancer
