Job Type: Full-time, 12-Month Contract (37.5 hours/week)

Liquid Earth, a division of Naturfect Natural Solutions, is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Specialist to help grow our innovative line of naturally derived cleaning products across Canada.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent post-secondary graduate looking to build a career in sales, business development, marketing, or the sustainable products industry. You'll receive hands-on experience working directly with retailers, distributors, and customers while helping grow a Canadian company committed to healthier homes and a healthier planet.

What You'll Do

As a Business Development Specialist, you'll help introduce customers to the Liquid Earth brand while building lasting business relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new customer and retail accounts
  • Growing existing customer relationships
  • Meeting with retailers, distributors, and commercial customers
  • Educating customers on the benefits of our eco-friendly cleaning products
  • Delivering product demonstrations and training sessions
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing exceptional service
  • Supporting trade shows, community events, and promotional activities
  • Assisting with sales and marketing materials
  • Monitoring market trends and identifying new business opportunities

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Is enthusiastic, motivated, and enjoys meeting new people
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Is passionate about sustainability and environmentally responsible products
  • Enjoys learning new things and solving customer challenges
  • Can explain product features and benefits in a simple, engaging way
  • Is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
  • Wants to grow into a long-term career in sales and business development

Qualifications

Required

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree
  • Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation (if applicable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in Canada

Assets

  • Retail or customer service experience
  • Sales or account management experience
  • Experience with inventory, merchandising, or vendor relationships
  • Experience giving presentations or training
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office

Program Eligibility

This position is funded through the Government of Canada's Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS). To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be 30 years of age or younger at the start of employment
  • Be a post-secondary graduate
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status in Canada
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Be a first-time participant in a Youth Employment and Skills Strategy work experience program for post-secondary graduates
