Position: Community Resilience Coordinator

The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is inviting applications for the position of Community Resilience Coordinator.
The Community Resilience Coordinator provides engagement and communication leadership, project coordination, and operational support for the Community Sustainability Team. The role provides regional coordination and consistency in community resilience planning, design, consultation, and implementation across the RDCK (Regional District of Central Kootenay) and municipal program partners. The position supports Climate Action, Emergency Preparedness and Mitigation, and Disaster Risk Reduction and Adaptation communication and engagement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
This is a full-time 2-year term position working 35 hours per week. Also included is a comprehensive benefits package. The position may be eligible for enrolment in the Municipal Pension Plan (MPP) as per MPP guidelines. The normal annual entry salary for this position is $61,104 with a range from $58,447 to $66,417 commensurate with experience.
