We are an Ocean Adventure Resort in La Ventana Bay in the Sea of Cortez, Baja Mexico. We are located just 35 minutes southeast of La Paz between La Ventana and El Sargento. Our family-run resort features custom service small-town charm and incredible water sports.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance team-be a leader and create a solid team
• Conduct employee reviews – hire fire discipline – enforce company rules
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, cars and boats
• Work daily with general manager to understand the needs of the hotel clients and how it applies to the maintenance( boats, cars, casitas, hurricane prep, Mag Bay facility, and restaurant)
• Monthly checklists for facility
• La Paz list what is needed to buy
• Client schedule for which boats and cars are needed when
• Mileage and hour related services for all boats and car.
• Doing gas runs to keep bidones full and ready for the next boat day

Hard Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor
• Perform basic to intermediate maintenance of facilities, cars and boats (electricity, painting, fiberglass repairs, tire changes, bearing oil, fix sombras, basic filter changes, bilge and livewell pump replacing)
• Google Drive management
• Experience driving a backhoe
• Experience launching and receiving boats
• Experience in boat inspections, filters inventory and changes - log everything
• Experience of 100 hour maintenance intervals impellors, thermostats, engine and trans oil fuel
• Experience in transporting boats

Soft Skills

• Team leadership
• Organization and delegation of activities
• Problem-solving skills
