Position Title: Regina Education, Youth, and Facilitation Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Organization: Break The Divide (BTD) Foundation
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan. Hybrid options may be available.
Relocate: Candidate must be located in Regina or able to relocate. Break The Divide is willing to support moving expenses for candidates currently located outside of Regina.
Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Compensation: $26–$32/hour (based on experience)
Start Date: January 12, 2026
Contract Details: 6 month initial contract, with the option of contract extension (pending funding)
About Break The Divide

Break The Divide (BTD) is a youth-led non-profit organization connecting young people across Canada and the world to address climate emotions, foster community resilience, and advance climate justice. Over the past year, BTD has focused on creating safe spaces for youth to express their emotions around the climate crisis, build resilience, and transform empathy into action.
About the Role
BTD is preparing to launch an educational program in 2026 that will train youth volunteers to deliver climate emotions and climate justice workshops in ten middle and high schools across Regina. The Regina Education, Youth, and Facilitation Coordinator will play a key leadership role in designing, implementing, and evaluating this initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with teachers, schools, and school districts.
Recruit 10 schools across Regina to participate in the 2026 pilot program.
Delivering Professional Development workshops to teachers
Align BTD’s existing climate emotions and justice curriculum with Saskatchewan’s environmental science, health science, and social studies outcomes.
Develop teacher-friendly resources and classroom materials.
Design and deliver a training program for youth volunteers on facilitation, climate emotions, and presentation skills.
Mentor and support volunteers as they lead workshops in schools.
Lead youth-focused engagements such as monthly Climate Emotion Circles.
Coordinate schedules, materials, and logistics for workshops.
Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify funding opportunities, write grant applications, and sustain partnerships that support the education program.

Qualifications and Skills
Bilingualism (English and French).
Experience in climate justice, community organizing, or youth-led initiatives.
