Position: Records and Information Management Student (2 Positions)
Type: age 30 & under / summer
Organization: Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority
Location: Oshawa, GTA / Durham Region, Ontario
Dates: April 27th, 2026, to August 28th, 2026 (18 Weeks)

SUMMARY:

Join Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority (CLOCA) as a Records & Information Management Student! You’ll work directly with the Information Management and Technology Manager, supporting digital transformation and maintaining key business applications.

Wage Rate per Hour: $17.60 per hour Hours per Week: 35

Responsibilities:

  1. Configure and populate the Conservation Authority Content Management System (CACMS)
  2. Migrate content from MS SharePoint and Teams to CACMS
  3. Provide user support, training, and technical communications to diverse audiences
  4. Assist with implementation, testing, and client training for CACMS and related business applications
  5. Support shared service agreements through CACMS application assistance

Please indicate in your cover letter how you meet each of the qualifications outlined below:

  1. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or college diploma, with a focus on records management
  2. Understanding of content management systems, records classification, and retention
  3. Minimum one year of work experience
  4. Proficient with specialized software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams)
  5. Experience in creating AI agents is considered an asset
  6. Eligible applicants must:
    • Be between 15 and 30 years old at the start of employment
    • Have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to return full-time next year
    • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
    • Be legally entitled to work in Canada
