Position: Project Manager – Clean Fuels (Halifax/Hybrid)

Position Overview

Net Zero Atlantic (NZA) is leading research to enable the production and adoption of low-carbon fuels in Atlantic Canada.
This role is for someone who wants to leverage their existing experience in clean fuels and project management to contribute to impactful, applied research that supports energy system change in the region.
As a Project Manager working in clean fuels, you will step into active projects and collaborate with government, industry, and academic partners. You will also build your professional network while contributing to applied research and initiatives that support Atlantic Canada’s clean energy transition. This role is well suited to someone who brings experience, initiative, and a desire to be part of meaningful change in an evolving sector.

Net Zero Atlantic is an independent, non-profit, energy-research organization dedicated to advancing Atlantic Canada’s transition to a net-zero energy future. We are a hybrid organization, headquartered in Halifax with staff in five locations across Canada. We lead applied research that turns complex questions into practical insight, working collaboratively with universities, governments, industry, Indigenous partners, and community organizations. This is a permanent, full time, hybrid role based in Halifax. The successful candidate will be expected to work a mix of remote and in office days, report to a Director of Research, and be responsible for:
