OVERVIEW
The Program Leader is responsible for facilitating a range of outdoor and environmental learning experiences for elementary and secondary school students. This includes the facilitation of teambuilding activities, outdoor skill development and environmental education programs. This is a dynamic role that involves working with students of all ages in a variety of program areas, with the goal of creating meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences for all.
For the Fall 2022 season, a majority of programs will be with grade 8 students and with a focus on community building as students begin secondary school. Programs will include a mix of outdoor and environmental education programs areas as well as indigenous cultural education at the Cheakamus Centre Longhouse.
