Position: Horticulturalist / Landscape Maintenance

We are a boutique garden design and maintenance firm dedicated to crafting and caring for some of Vancouver’s most exquisite private gardens.

With years of experience in high-end residential landscapes, we take pride in our thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and commitment to organic practices. What we are looking for:

• You have 2 years of experience working in gardens or farms
• You are physically strong fit and comfortable with hands-on tasks like carrying bags of soil, planting and pruning.
• You are passionate about plants and horticulture, with an eagerness to refine your skills
• You have a (Class 5) BC Drivers License and are confident in driving work vans & trucks.
• You are meticulous and detail-oriented, with a natural sense of aesthetics
• You work well as part of a team and bring a positive attitude
• You are punctual and reliable

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada until at least December 2026.

Additional skills that will make you stand out:

• Plant identification skills and horticultural knowledge
• Experience working in high-end residential landscapes with a refined approach to garden care

Some of the Responsibilities:

• Working with the team to maintain garden beds, including weeding, dead heading & pruning
• Planting up newly designed gardens and garden renovation projects
• Pruning small trees, shrubs and hedges using both hand and light weight power tools
• Planting of seasonal containers, annuals, perennials and bulbs
• Driving crew vehicles to sites, loading and care of tools & equipment, picking up plants or materials from nurseries

We do not cut lawns or large hedges, we don't install paving or other hardscaping materials

We practice organic gardening and use battery powered equipment for a quiet, fume-free environment

Position details:

• Full time position (~ 4.5 days per week Tues- Fri, with a half day on Mondays)
• Our usual working hours are 7.30am - 4pm.
