Farm Overview:

Manorun Organic Farm is located on twenty five acres of converted conventional farmland to oak savannah. We have used permaculture design principles to create a food forest with swales to capture and store water. In between our tree lines, we regeneratively grow vegetables, rotationally graze our livestock, and grow cover crops in the form of hay and grains.

We grow vegetables and raise beef, pork, and poultry for our 200 family CSA program and farm store. We are driven to provide the highest quality food for our community and this begins with soil health. We care for our soil through crop rotation, composting, decreasing tillage, cover cropping, and integrating livestock. All these methods help build our organic matter, increase biodiversity, which in turn provides us with more nutrient dense crops.

We have been training and mentoring new farmers through our internship and staff positions for over 25 years. We value the educational component of the work we do and pride ourselves in offering a well-rounded seasonal growing experience.
