Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Greenhouse Worker to support the day-to-day operations of our microgreens department. This role includes assisting with seeding, watering, and harvesting microgreens, along with a heavy focus on cleaning and sanitation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with plants, staying active, and being part of a mission-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily microgreens growing tasks, including seeding, watering, monitoring growth and disease, and harvesting
• Wash and sanitize microgreens trays (approximately two days per week)
• Maintain general cleanliness and order in the greenhouse environment
• Follow instructions to ensure high-quality and consistent crop performance
• Report any observations related to plant health or growing conditions

• Work cooperatively with other team members to meet weekly production goals

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with plants and learning about organic growing practices
• Comfortable with physical work including lifting (up to 40 lbs), standing, and repetitive tasks
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous farm, greenhouse, or nursery experience is a plus but not required
• Willingness to work early morning shifts in varying greenhouse conditions (warm, humid, etc.)

Schedule & Compensation

• Start time: 7:00 AM
• Full-time - 40 hours/week
• Wage: $17.50 - $19.00, based on experience
