Title: Multi-species Action Plan Coordinator
Organization: Georgian Bay Land Trust
Location: Parry Sound and remote (Port Severn to Pointe au Baril)
Reports To: Conservation Director
Duration: 1-year contract

Overview:
The Georgian Bay Land Trust (GBLT) Multi-species Action Plan Coordinator is a 1-year contract position that will be responsible for the implementation and creation of the GBLT’s Multi-species Action Plan in coordination with the Conservation Director. This position reports to the Conservation Director but will focus on the identification of provincially significant species and their habitats and targeted surveys to adequately capture the ecology of Georgian Bay. The majority of the summer work will require being based along the eastern coast of Georgian Bay, and the winter work will be done in GBLT’s Toronto office or remotely. Responsibilities would include:
These positions will require knowledge of the Georgian Bay environment and will include training regarding the inventory work and survey protocols. It will require technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in small teams in remote locations.

Skills & Aptitudes:
Anticipated start date: Monday March 16th, 2026 (though flexible)
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Boat gas and expenses will be covered.
