Job Description:

Clean Energy Associates is seeking a motivated, well-rounded individual to support marketing initiatives. As a Marketing Specialist, you will assist the marketing team with initiatives in content creation, brand recognition, marketing communications, trade shows, promotional campaigns, department planning, and other projects. This position offers unique exposure to the marketing function of a rapidly growing, global company. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the solar PV and energy storage industries through working closely with a multicultural global team of industry experts.

You’ll work closely with key marketing team members to execute marketing initiatives that support the growth of the company, including:

  1. Develop contents for blog posts, case studies, brochures, flyers, and webpages as needed.
  2. Maintain and create new collateral (brochures, flyers, presentations) that communicate what CEA offers, in both print and digital format; Proofing collateral inventory frequently and take extraordinary steps to ensure that collateral is clear, concise, and correct.
  3. Manage CEA’s online presence through maintaining updated website and supporting social media and email campaigns, as well as advertising opportunities
  4. Coordinate CEA's participation in trade shows and events – including managing internal logistics for team participation, and liaison with show organizers and third-party vendors for booth preparation, merchandize and collateral design and production.
  5. Support the commercial team with creating client-specific and customized collateral on an as-needed basis; Serve as the bridge across sales, technology and quality, and project operations teams for collection of key figures, insights and data, and present them in a format that is concise and consistent with CEA brand image


  • Demonstrated track record of clear and concise written and verbal communication skill
  • Strong interest in renewable energy (especially solar or energy storage) and curiosity about how things work and how things are made
  • 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, engineering, or other business-related degree
  • Ability to work effectively with a multicultural team based worldwide
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with a remote manager
  • Location is flexible, but must be able to work North American business hours
  • Native-level English speaker

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced MS office skills, especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator
  • Experience in solar energy industry or renewables energy industry is an advantage
