Job Opportunity

Position: Marketing and Communications Manager
Organization: The Canadian Canoe Museum
Location: Peterborough, Ontario

The Canadian Canoe Museum is located on the Traditional Territory of the Williams Treaties First Nations in Peterborough, Ontario. For more than 25 years, the Museum has stewarded the world’s largest, most significant collection of canoes, kayaks, and paddled watercraft. As part of our responsibility for this one-of-a-kind collection, we have built it a new home along the water’s edge.

Inspired by the collection and grounded in our collaborative relationships, we share stories and create authentic experiences that facilitate connection, curiosity, and new understandings of our cultural and natural world. It is our vision to connect people to the water, to the land, and to each other.

The Opportunity

As The Canadian Canoe Museum grows into its new waterfront home, we are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead and shape the Museum’s voice locally and nationally.

You will guide a small but mighty team and work closely with colleagues to ensure cohesive, creative, and measurable communications across all platforms — digital and traditional.

Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with weekend and evening work occasionally required
