We're professional gardeners who look after 150 gardens around Toronto. That means that there is a lot of variety in what we end up doing, and you'll get to work in lots of very different gardens.
Long Season: Join our team for the entire season.
Short Season: We need help during our busy spring season. It is possible that the contract gets extended, depending upon buisness needs.
Hours: Variable, weather dependant. We start at 7am.
Knowledge Requirements: A great attitude is more important than knowledge, but, we appreciate people who want to learn everything they can about plants.
Physical Requirements: You need to be energetic and fit. Stamina is more important than strength.
Assets that would help get you a call back: Previous landscaping/professional gardening experience. G driver's license with clear driving record and experience driving cargo van or pickup in the city. Formal horticultural training. Make me believe that you want to learn to be a good gardener.
Other Job Information: This is a small company. You will be working directly with the owner, and have the chance to learn and also influence all aspects of the business. This is an open book company and we believe in sharing success with everyone on the team
Where: You can get to work by TTC. You do not need your own vehicle. You do need safety boots.
