Summary
The Development Manager position at The Fur-Bearers is a contract position that will work as part of a small and talented team. Renewal of this position is based on performance and budgetary considerations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter whose primary responsibility is creating and executing a long-term fundraising plan that incorporates existing and novel acquisition strategies, donor stewardship, data-driven analysis, and new funding opportunities to support our mission.
Job Title: Development Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Term: 12-month Contract (June 1, 2024 to May 30, 2025) with an opportunity for renewal/ full-time position.
Job Location: This is a work-from-home position, in Canada, no fixed office location.
Compensation: $75K – $80K based on experience. Flexible schedule.

During the course of this term, success will be measured by the ability to achieve/exceed mutually agreed upon quarterly fundraising goals.
