The position: Ecosource is seeking a Harvest Distribution Facilitator to support food access for Mississauga residents by assisting with local food production, distribution, and community engagement. The Harvest Distribution Facilitator will assist in the development and delivery of in-person programs for residents of all ages at the Iceland Teaching Garden, a 15,000 square-foot urban farm in central Mississauga, as well as community centers and partner locations in the Region of Peel. A key focus will be to deliver programming to meet the diverse needs of local communities using anti-racist and anti-oppression principles.

This is a full-time contract at 35 hours per week, from February to end of November, with the possibility of extension dependent on funding. Some evening and weekend work will be required. Salary for this position is $49,504 per year, prorated to the length of the contract. The position includes access to a comprehensive benefits package, with 8 personal days and 12 days of paid vacation for the contract term. In addition, Ecosource offers generous statutory and non-statutory holiday time, including flexible paid holidays to promote an inclusive workplace.
