The successful candidate will work with the CPAWS team on planning and implementing projects and campaigns related to parks and public lands in Southern Alberta. The Conservation Campaign Specialist will be part of the Conservation Policy department and report to the Executive Director (ED), while working closely with all relevant staff both locally and nation-wide to strategically implement our conservation work.
This position offers an opportunity to apply and expand the candidate’s skills and knowledge related to advancing public understanding and engagement in conservation policy issues and opportunities, as guided by our strategic plan. These skills would support career development in the fields of environmental science, ecology, geography, land-use, political science, and/or public policy.
