Position: Education Program Coordinator
Organization: Cheakamus Centre
Location: Brackendale, near Squamish, north of Vancouver BC

OVERVIEW
This position plays a key role in the coordination and delivery of high-quality experiential programs for visiting students, educators and community groups at Cheakamus Centre. Working closely with program staff, the coordinator ensures smooth program operations, exceptional participant experiences and strong alignment with Cheakamus Centre’s values of community, personal growth and connection to place. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, creative and collaborative educator who thrives in a dynamic outdoor learning environment. The nature of the EPC role shifts based on the types of programs offered through the school year, as outlined below:

The Education Program Coordinator is employed by Listel Canada and reports to the Program Manager
HOURS
The position’s onsite requirement is based on program bookings and requires working varied hours including days, afternoons and evenings (and very occasionally weekend shifts). Specific schedules vary through the school year, however on average the EPC works 2-3 afternoon + evening shifts per week. This is a salaried position based on a 40hr work week. This role is also responsible for being in an emergency on-call capacity 1-3 nights per week.
JOB TERM & START DATE
This is a full-time, permanent position. Flexibility regarding summer work hours can be discussed. Preferred start date: January 6, 2026.
