Eco-friendly gardener

Title: Gardener
Company: Well Grounded
Location: Peterborough, Ontario

Company Overview:

Established in 2013, Well Grounded is an eco-friendly gardening company servicing Peterborough and the surrounding area.

We pride ourselves on our extensive plant knowledge, creative designs, and ecologically minded approach. We provide a wide variety of gardening services including consultations, designs, installation, maintenance, pruning, planting, seasonal planters and wreaths, invasive species management and flagstone pathway building! In the gardens we design and maintain, we focus on prioritising native species, practicing healthy pruning techniques, preserving and creating habitat, building healthy soils, and only using natural fertilizers and pesticides. We avoid the use of loud and gas powered tools, opting for hand tools and battery powered equipment. We love incorporating edible species into ornamental gardens and transforming lawns into gardens or meadows!

We are looking for one more gardener to add to our team for the 2026 season.

Anticipated Start Date: Mid-April, 2026

Compensation: $22 per hour to start. Work shirts and hats are provided.
