About Us

Goldfin Consulting helps organizations move from ad hoc energy projects to a strategic, integrated approach to energy management, building the capability people need to take the right actions every day to address the climate crisis. By combining Strategic Energy Management with intentional workforce development and adult learning principles, Goldfin helps organizations build the skills, systems and culture needed to embed energy performance into everyday business practices. The result is proactive energy management, reduced waste and sustained performance improvements that deliver long-term value.

Role summary

The Delivery Excellence Manager is responsible for ensuring that Goldfin consistently delivers exceptional client outcomes through disciplined project execution, proactive coordination, resource management, operational leadership, and a people-first approach to delivery.

This role serves as the operational hub connecting project teams and creating the conditions for people to do their best work. The Delivery Excellence Manager owns the operational flow of work and maintains visibility across Goldfin’s portfolio of programs and projects, ensuring commitments are met, risks are managed proactively, progress is communicated effectively, and delivery teams have the structure and support they need to succeed.

Unlike a traditional project manager whose focus is limited to schedules and task tracking, the Delivery Excellence Manager is accountable for the health of project delivery across the organization. They identify issues before they become problems, remove obstacles, create clarity where ambiguity exists, facilitate communication, strengthen accountability, and ensure that commitments are translated into action. Their goal is to create the conditions for people to do their best work so that delivery excellence becomes an organizational capability.

This individual begins each workday asking: "What is at risk of falling through the cracks, and what needs to happen to keep our projects, people, and clients successful?"

  • Familiarity with change management principles and organizational effectiveness practices.

What success looks like

Within the first 12–18 months, the Delivery Excellence Manager will:

  • Improve project delivery predictability and consistency.
  • Increase visibility into project health, risks, budgets, and resource capacity.
  • Reduce the amount of project coordination and issue resolution required from senior leaders.
  • Strengthen accountability and follow-through across project teams.
  • Improve visibility into project performance, risks, resource capacity and budget status to support informed decision-making.
  • Establish scalable delivery practices that support Goldfin's continued growth.

Who will thrive in this role

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy bringing order to complexity.
  • Find satisfaction in helping people and teams succeed.
  • Notice details that others miss.
  • Are comfortable having difficult conversations when commitments are not being met.
  • Naturally follow up, connect dots, and remove obstacles.
  • Balance empathy with accountability.
