The climate motivator will take on four small projects, which can be adjusted according to their interests:

1) Brainstorm some ways we can be an environmentally sustainable congregation (ie. within the circular economy) as we return to our new LLED standard building. Generate a summary of these ideas to share with the church council and the transition team.

2) Design, promote and host weekly events, offered for young adults just out of secondary school (20-35 years), with the purpose of connecting with creation (hikes, workshops, gardening, etc), or living sustainably (electronics repair, mending, etc.).

3) Explore Who is Our Neighbour? project style partnerships with organizations Bloor Street United Church may work with in the future to support climate change advocacy, resilience, and people impacted by climate change. Develop the seeds of these partnerships through personal connection.

4) Listen to members of the congregation to identify common concerns and passions related to climate justice and sustainability, and share key findings with the transition team.
