Position: Campaign Manager
Organization: Green Party of Canada - North Vancouver EDA
Location: North Vancouver, BC

The Green Party of Canada are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Campaign Manager in the riding of North Vancouver-Capilano to help provide strategy and organization in the upcoming federal byelection. At present no date has been set for the by-election, though it is largely anticipated this autumn. As such, we’re looking for someone who can join the campaign team as soon as possible.

As a Campaign Manager your role will involve the following responsibilities:

• Help the candidate come up with a clear strategy on how best to use the time and resources they have available.
• Assist the candidate in creating core campaign messaging, helping tailor the Green Party platform to issues within our local community.
• Assist with preparation around key speaking events such as debates.
• Work closely with the Volunteer Co-Ordinator to make sure that strategy is correctly implemented on the ground.

• Help the candidate find and arrange key speaking opportunities.
• Coordinate social media content planning.
• Work with the Official Agent regarding campaign expenditures and financial reporting requirements.
• Any other help as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience managing or coordinating political campaigns, advocacy campaigns or large volunteer organizations.
• Experience coordinating events and logistics.
• Ability to motivate volunteers and build positive team culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and discretion.

It’s expected that the role will be approximately full time, with the start date being as soon as possible and the end being the election date.

The role pays $30 per hour and is a contract position. Support and guidance will be provided by the board of the North Vancouver Federal Green Party EDA.
