Position: Airport Wildlife Management Officer

Location: Comox Valley (Lazo) / Courtenay BC
The Raptors is hiring for a Wildlife Management Officer based out of the Comox Valley, BC. This position would be based at the CFB Comox Airfield in the Comox Valley with initial training at our Visitor Centre in Duncan, BC. In this position, you would be utilizing modern wildlife management techniques to mitigate environmental and safety hazards on the airfield. This is a full-time permanent position, with wages of approximately $25+/hr (depending on experience). Applicants must be willing to relocate to the Comox Valley (Temporary housing available for initial relocation while permanent housing is acquired). Due to the location of the work, applicants must have access to a vehicle or other means of reliable transportation. Public transportation does not reliably service the majority of our worksites.
