About Terra Elysium Foundation
Terra Elysium Foundation is a Toronto-based not-for-profit delivering community-centred, arts- and culture-driven environmental programming in Neighbourhood Improvement Areas (NIAs). Our work brings together youth, artists, and community members to explore environmental justice, sustainability, and community wellbeing through creative practice, storytelling, and place-based engagement.
As we move into 2026, Terra Elysium is expanding its Executive Team and is welcoming expressions of interest for several volunteer leadership roles that support programs, communications, events, and organizational sustainability.
Executive Team Opportunities Available
Executive Operations Coordinator
Supports the coordination of organizational operations, executive initiatives, and performance tracking across Terra Elysium’s programs and projects. Working closely with the Executive Director, this role supports meeting preparation and follow-ups, tracks action items and timelines, assists with internal documentation and reporting, and helps monitor progress and accountability across initiatives. This role is well-suited for someone who is highly organized, analytical, and interested in nonprofit operations and organizational leadership.
Marketing Manager
Supports marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand coordination to strengthen Terra Elysium’s public presence and promote programs and events. Works closely with the Executive Director and internal team members to ensure clear, consistent, and community-focused communications.
Digital Content Manager
Leads written and digital content across Terra Elysium’s website and online platforms, including blogs, program pages, and storytelling content. Supports accessible, community-centred digital communications in collaboration with marketing and outreach leads.
Human Resources Manager
Supports executive recruitment, onboarding, and internal HR processes while helping foster a positive, inclusive organizational culture. Works closely with the Executive Director and team leads to support staffing, engagement, and internal coordination.
Grants Manager
Works closely with the Executive Director to research, write, and manage grant applications that support Terra Elysium’s programs and long-term sustainability. Plays a key role in funding strategy, reporting, and funder relationships.
Social Media Specialist
Supports Terra Elysium’s social media presence by creating, scheduling, and managing content that highlights programs, events, and community stories. Helps increase visibility and engagement through thoughtful, accessible digital storytelling.
Events Manager
Leads planning and coordination for community events, workshops, and gatherings, including logistics, venues, and on-the-ground execution. Works closely with the Executive Team to support accessible, well-organized, and community-centred programming.
Who Should Apply
These roles are well-suited for individuals interested in nonprofit leadership, community-based work, arts and culture, environmental justice, communications, events, or organizational development. Previous experience is an asset, but curiosity, reliability, and alignment with Terra Elysium’s values are equally important.
