Outdoor Adventure, Leave No Trace

The outdoors is calling,
will you take the challenge?

Free training:
Outdoor Leader Training Program
(1-Day Training Workshop)

Sierra Club Canada is hosting a free, 1-day Outdoor Leader Training program in Toronto on Saturday, May 9th, 2026.

This workshop is ideal for members who want to build their outdoor group leadership skills, learn about trail etiquette, certify to lead their own groups, Leave-No-Trace principles and so much more!

It’s great for hikers, university students, birdwatchers, stargazers, and general nature-lovers who yearn to explore the outdoors with friends. More importantly, it encourages conservation habits, pro-environmental action, and community engagement. Think of it as one small step you can take toward the broader challenge of climate change adaptation and sustainability.

Date: Saturday, May 9th, 2026
Location: High Park Nature Centre, Toronto, ON
Time: 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Spaces are limited so make sure you register here before April 28th, 2026!

Please note: This is an in-person training event. You are also required to have valid First Aid/AED & CPR certification. If you have any questions regarding the workshop or membership, please reach out to us at membership@sierraclub.ca .
