VOLUNTEER / UNPAID POSITION (EXECUTIVE TEAM)

Position: Outreach Volunteer
Group: Zero Food Waste Ottawa
Location: Ottawa ON (mostly remote)

Do you dislike the sight of food getting thrown away? Would you like to directly give back to the community while also fighting climate change?

About Zero Food Waste Canada

Zero Food Waste Canada is a non-profit organization that believes in a sustainable world. We aim to alleviate hunger and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by redirecting excess food from restaurants and bakeries to those in need. ZFW currently operates in: Calgary AB, Edmonton AB, Ottawa ON, Hamilton ON and Kingston ON.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Getting new partners on board – contacting local food vendors to see if they are interested in donating excess food.
• Maintaining relationships with stakeholders and like-minded organizations 
• Supporting the VP of Outreach
