Position: Garden Apprentice
Location: Port Clements, Haida Gwaii BC (on-site accom.)

Apprentice/Intern needed for the 2026 gardening season!

I grow vegetables primarily for my own consumption. I don’t use chemicals and pesticides but practice some crop rotation, use row cover, and companion plant to deter pests. The recent transition to no-dig and creation of quality compost is assisting in the regeneration of the soil microbiome and resulting in healthy plants and abundant yields.

May to October (exact dates negotiable).

Come experience rural life on Haida Gwaii.

The 5-acre property is located just north of Port Clements, on Haida Gwaii. I gratefully acknowledge my home lies on the unceded territory of the Haida Nation. There is much to see and do here, and I will try to facilitate any local activity my apprentice might wish to engage in during their time off.

I appreciate connecting with like-minded people.
