Location: Sutton/Georgina, Lake Simcoe, Ontario (near Toronto)
Interested in volunteering on an organic farm near Toronto?
At The Cutting Veg, we welcome volunteers most Friday mornings, and some Sunday mornings, from May to mid-October. The farm day runs from 8am-1pm (flexible). No commitment needed – come as often or infrequently as you like. Volunteer activities include a combination of planting, weeding, harvesting, preparing veg for market, plant care, etc. Helping out on the farm is a great opportunity to learn practical growing skills, and to meet wonderful like-minded folks.
