Location: Waupoos, Prince Edward County, Ontario. Transportation can be provided for day volunteers from Toronto.

Join a passionate, women-led agricultural tourism start-up and experience life on a sustainable, off-grid garlic farm in the heart of beautiful Prince Edward County. Surrounded by vast lake views, lush vineyards, and the iconic white sand beaches of the Sandbanks, this is an opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a greener future. Heart&Soil was created to bring together the worlds of wellness and culinary culture—two passions that thrive in harmony with the land. This farm is more than just a place to grow food; it's a space to cultivate community, empower women, and reconnect with sustainable living.

Using only organic and eco-conscious practices, our mission is to grow nutrient-rich garlic while nurturing a strong, supportive environment for learning, sharing, and healing through the power of nature and food.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Hands-on garden work in a peaceful outdoor setting
• Planting garlic bulbs for the next growing season
• Laying mulch and preparing garden beds for overwintering
• Setting up sustainable crop covers to protect the soil
• Learning about organic practices and sustainable farming methods
