About Us:

The Canadian Conservation Photography Collective (CCPC) was formed in 2021 with the objective of promoting conservation and science education through the production of strong, thought-provoking visual content. The collective is composed of freelance photographers from across the country and from a wide variety of occupational training backgrounds including biology, education, journalism, social work, and business. We firmly believe that networking as a team and combining our strengths and experience dramatically furthers our ability to shed light on pressing conservation issues and to reach, inform, and engage a much wider audience.

Role Description:

We are seeking an organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Volunteer Campaign Manager. The Campaign Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of conservation campaigns. This volunteer position offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, work closely with photographers, researchers, and partner organizations, and play a key role in raising public awareness about endangered wildlife and conservation efforts in Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of CCPC campaigns, ensuring goals, timelines, and deliverables are met.
  • Coordinate the work of volunteer photographers, researchers, and content creators to ensure cohesive campaign content.
  • Develop strategic campaign plans using Asana in consultation with the Executive Director and other volunteers.
  • Oversee research initiatives and ensure the accuracy and quality of campaign materials.
  • Manage campaign timelines, milestones, and reporting on key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Passion for conservation and wildlife protection.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience in campaign management, conservation, communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • A background in conservation sciences is not required but considered an asset.
