About Green Neighbours Network of Toronto

Green Neighbours Network of Toronto (GNN) is a dynamic grassroots organization that has rapidly grown to almost 1000 individual and over 60 group members since being incorporated as a non-profit in 2020. GNN co-hosts EcoFair Toronto which attracts over 1000 attendees each year. The primary goal of the Network is to encourage and support people and groups who are helping to make neighbourhoods across the City of Toronto and GTA greener, healthier, and more sustainable. About the Steering Committee

GNN is run by a Steering Committee that sets long term goals and strategic directions, and oversees outreach and mentoring, communications, volunteer recruitment, projects, partnerships, and finances. Steering Committee members are all unpaid volunteers who are actively engaged and enthusiastic about growing the organization. They play an active role in planning and running important new strategies and projects in accord with their own skills, interests, and desire to learn and grow.

We are actively working to reflect Toronto’s full diversity - across ethnicity, geography, age, disability and more. Everyone is invited to apply, and we warmly encourage applications from people who are underrepresented in environmental spaces.
