Role: Park Clean-up/Workshop Volunteer
Organization: Citizen Science Park Clean-up
Location: Brampton, Ontario

We are looking for people interested in volunteering for the Citizen Science Park-Clean-up events. Opportunities can be one time or short-term if interested in attending/supporting more than one event.

The Citizen Science Park Clean-up is a family friendly hands-on educational workshop based in Brampton, ON that combines park clean-ups with interactive learning activities about the impacts of plastic and microplastic waste on the environment, and health of all living things.

Join an event to engage in nature, learn science, and connect with others in the Brampton community! Gain volunteer hours as needed.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

• Park Clean-up Volunteer: Attend a Citizen Science Park Clean-up workshop and clean a local park in Brampton. Time Commitment: ~2 hours/event
• Workshop Volunteer: Help set-up and run the Citizen Science Park Clean-up workshop. Be there to support others during the park clean-up. Time Commitment: ~5 hours/event
