Are you ready to make a real impact in your community and tackle urgent climate and water challenges of today?

I am very happy to share a new opportunity for youth (ages 18-30) across Canada.

Youth for Resilient Communities (Y4RC) Cohort 5: Northern Experiences is currently open and accepting applications!

Youth for Resilient Communities (Y4RC) invites you to come together with youth from across the country to learn how to create impact in your community. National in design, Y4RC’s immersive experiences will build your skills, insights and networks across Canada’s climate and water challenges.

From October 1, 2026 – March 1, 2027, be one of 30 young Canadians to learn new skills and perspectives as you travel in October 2026 to the Northwest Territories for a 7-day gathering to be immersed in extensive training, on the land teachings and experiences & learning alongside local knowledge keepers. This in-person training session will be the foundation for the development of your own community service placement projects.

• 7-day in-person gathering in the Northwest Territories
