How do I post an opportunity?

Simply use our Post an opportunity page. You can post a volunteer position, board position, participation opportunity, or any other unpaid role.

Or if you're posting a paid position, please use our Post a job page.

What happens after I post?

Your posting is prepared and published by our team, usually quite quickly. We'll email you when it's live, with a link to your posting and everything you need to manage it. You can edit, extend or delete your posting at any time.

Does it cost to post?

We're flexible! The choice is yours:

  • Free posting
    • please limit to one free posting within a 3 month period
    • feel free to include multiple roles/positions within one posting
  • Or $50 — suggested rate if you can afford it
  • Other arrangement — please describe in the comments.

(We can accept up to one free, complimentary posting per organization each season / every 3 months or so. If you find that posting here is worthwhile — and would like to see us here for you next time around — please consider our modest fee. This helps us attract great volunteers, and help both the community and the environment. There's a drop-down on the posting page for you to choose what, if anything, you can pay. It's an honour system. If you can't pay, please post anyway.)

How long can I post for?

Your posting can stay online for as long as you like. When you fill the position, please let us know so we can take it down. This is fair to applicants, and also increases the effectiveness of our site.
