Role: Nature & Conservation Support
Project: Rouge Valley Conservation Centre
Location: Rouge Valley Conservation Centre, Toronto ON

Are you passionate about nature, conservation, and making a positive impact on your community?

Rouge Valley Conservation Centre is a small but dedicated organization focused on protecting wildlife, plant life, and our natural environment. We are seeking a mature, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a volunteer.

This long-term volunteer role is ideal for someone who shares our mission and is eager to contribute their time and skills to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with conservation projects, for example plant care, and wildlife monitoring.
• Support fundraising efforts, such as organizing events, developing campaigns, and engaging with donors.
• Help coordinate and participate in kids’ nature camps, fostering environmental awareness and appreciation among young learners.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the charity.
• Act as an ambassador for the organization, sharing our message and inspiring others to get involved.

Qualifications:

• A strong interest in nature, conservation, wildlife, and environmental issues.
• Reliable, mature, and committed to long-term involvement.
• Willingness to support various activities, including fundraising events and educational programs.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
