Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced Sales & Project Manager who considers themselves a plant personto join our growing Toronto team.

This is a key position within ByNature. More than simply generating sales or coordinating projects, you'll own the client experience from the initial consultation through successful project completion.

You'll develop relationships, identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and once a project is approved, work closely with our designers, estimators, warehouse, production, installation, and leadership teams to ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

We're not simply looking for an experienced salesperson or project manager — we're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, enjoys collaborating with others, and finds satisfaction in seeing complex projects through from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors, developers, and commercial clients.
• Respond promptly to new inquiries and qualify project opportunities.
• Conduct consultations and recommend appropriate ByNature solutions.
• Prepare quotations and proposals in collaboration with our Design and Estimating teams.
• Follow up consistently and professionally to move opportunities toward approval.
• Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline information.

Project Management & Coordination

Once projects are approved, you'll become the primary point of contact throughout execution by:

• Coordinating project timelines and key milestones.
• Working closely with designers, warehouse staff, production, logistics, and installers.
• Monitoring procurement and material readiness.
• Scheduling deliveries and installations.
• Keeping clients informed throughout every stage of the project.
• Identifying potential challenges early and coordinating practical solutions.
• Ensuring projects are delivered with the level of quality and service expected from ByNature.

Internal Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Design, Estimating, Operations, Production, and Installation teams.
• Ensure smooth project handoffs and clear internal communication.
• Support a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.
• Contribute ideas and continuously look for ways to improve the client experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales, project management, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
• Must be knowledgeable about plants; This includes best care and maintenance practices, identifying plants and offering the best plant solutions based on site conditions.
• Experience in construction, architecture, interior design, landscaping, manufacturing, or building products is considered a strong asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Sketchup, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based softwares- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
• Experience using CRM systems is considered an asset.
• Valid Ontario driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the GTA for client meetings and site visits.

• Monday to Friday
• Full-time
• Occasional travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area

Pay:

$26.00-$28.00 per hour
